Steam locomotive No. 7 is a June 1927 product of the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It has an 0-4-2RT
(rear tank) wheel arrangement. Baldwin Serial no. 60069 is a 30-inch narrow gauge logging locomotive that worked for many years as No. 7 on the Kiso Forest Railway in the pine forests of Japan.
Later purchased in 1958 by an American businessman and railfan, Kiso No. 7 made its way back to America. Also known as the "Dagny," on the private La Goleta & Shoreline Railroad, it was donated to the museum by owner Phillip Goldman of Goleta, California.
The locomotive is currently under restoration. Your donations towards this effort are greatly appreciated.
