Please join us for the 2008 Pacific Coast Railroad Roundup at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch in Santa Margarita, California, just 8 miles north of San Luis Obispo on Hwy 101. Last year's event was a great success as we hosted over 1900 guests!.
This year's Roundup has even more events to participate in. In addition to unlimited train rides on historic narrow gauge steam engines and coaches, there will be railroadiana vendors, live local band music by Monte Mills, Food & Snacks, antique steam engine displays and much more!
Several other events, items on display and special surprises are planned for this years upcoming event. Additional information will be available soon. E-mail info@slorrm.com with any questions. Be sure and get your tickets early! We had a huge turnout last year and hope too again this year.

Santa Maria Valley Railroad 2008 Rail Fest
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 11-13, 2008 - Santa Maria
The Santa Maria Valley Railroad will be hosting the 2008 Rail Fest July 11-13, 2008 to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the railroad.
The 2008 SMVRR Rail Fest will be held at the Santa Maria Valley Railroad freight depot at 628 S. McClelland Street, Santa Maria.
Dine aboard the ex-California Zephyr dome car Silver Lariat. Friends of the Santa Maria Valley Railroad will be hosting lectures on the history of the Santa Maria Valley Railroad.
The San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum will host tours of the La Condesa as well as displays. there will be an Operation Lifesaver display, short speeder rides in the yard and a miniature 7-1/2" gauge railroad for the kids.
